Abstract	With the development of information technology and wide application of all walks of life got rapid development in the field of network information. Using multimedia teaching has become a mainstream trend of the teaching. However, multimedia teaching means in the process of using and implementation also has certain problem. The emergence of cloud computing for building open, safe and efficient platform for the multimedia teaching has the vital significance. Informatization teaching based on the cloud computing environment, starting from the actual situation, put forward the construction of multimedia teaching platform based on cloud computing, the multimedia teaching platform should meet the functional requirements, the overall design and key technologies were analyzed, and the construction of multimedia teaching platform overall design of the structure, meet the needs of the multimedia teaching, has a certain practical application value.
