NDLI: Numerical Analysis of Spatial Power-Frequence Electric Field of 500kV Cable

Abstract	In order to understand the electric-field indensity(EFI) distribution of superhigh voltage 500kV cross- linked cable which was laid over the bridge, the two- dimensional model of two typical cross-linked cable assignment-structure which consists of level-layout and triangle-layout. Based on the numerical analysis of electric field, the equivalent charge method was adopted to calculate EFI of 500kV cross-linked cable which was laid over the bridge. Using the software Matlab to simulate the calculation result and comparing the calculation result of two typical cross-linked cable assignment-structure, the results show that the EFI maximum and the EFI distribution of two typical structure are slightly different, and EFI on the cable is maximum. But considering the shield of cable, the maximum of EFI on the bridge are all less than 4kV/m, so the power- frequency electric-field produced by 500kV cable is safe for human.
