| Abstract | This paper reports theoretical results of a parametric soliton-like pulse self-generation in an active ring resonator by using magnonic quasi-crystal (MQC) with Fibonacci-type structure. For the calculation of MQC transmission responses, the model based on the transfer matrix method is used. Besides, the model of the MQC active ring resonator that contains three perimetrically coupled differential equations and two differential equations of linear oscillators is used to calculate the parametric soliton-like pulse self-generation. It is established that such pulses are self-generated all over the range of the external static magnetic field values where three-wave parametric decay of the magnetostatic surface wave is allowed. The minimal threshold of the soliton-like pulse self-generation is observed at high values of a magnetic field. This threshold is increased at any value of a magnetic field when a magnonic crystal is used in a feedback loop. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
