| Abstract | This report we discuss the work done by us in the domain of Healthcare to improve e ciency using IT infrastructure. We started with a domain study in Healthcare via a real world deployed of Hospital Information System in Jasola Apollo Hospital, Delhi. We saw and realized many problems that are faced by patients as well health worker in real world scenarios. We studied the deployment and proposed how IT can help make things simpler and more e cient in the Hospital environment. Thereafter we decided to concentrate our e ort on automation of sensor data collection. The rationale behind it being that data collection and its manual entry is a time consuming and error prone task in any healthcare eld be primary, secondary or tertiary. We tried di erent techniques of interfacing health sensors directly with Android Phones and nally settled on use and extension of ODK Sensors. ODK Sensors provided USB and Bluetooth interfaces for sensor data collection. We extended the interface to support WiFi and added functionalities which enhance the use-cases of ODK Sensors in real world deployments. |
