| Abstract | Bei der Hydrierung der C*N-Doppelbindungen des Pyrazinrings von Folsäure zu 5,6,7,8-Tetrahydrofolsäure entsteht an C6 des Pterinsystems ein neues Asymmetriezentrum. Mit auf Kieselgel immobilisierten optisch aktiven Rhodium(I)-Phosphan-Katalysatoren läßt sich die Hydrierung in wäßriger Lösung stereoselektiv steuren. Der höchste Diastereomerenüberschuß von etwa 40%de ergibt sich mit (−)-BPPM-haltigen Katalysatoren. Die Hydrierung des Biomoleküls Folsäure gelingt in wäßriger Lösung auch homogen mit Rhodium(I)-Phosphan-Katalysatoren, deren Liganden Sulfonsäuregruppen bzw. Polyetherreste enthalten. Die homogenen Hydrierungen verlau-fen allerdings gegenüber den heterogenen Katalysen langsamer und mit etwas reduzierten Diastereoselektivitäten. Die Hydrierung von 2-Methylchinoxalin ist ein Modellsystem für die Folsäure-Reduktion. Die üblichen Rhodium(I)-Phosphan-Katalysatoren ergeben nur geringe Enantiomerenüberschüsse. In the hydrogenation of the C*N double bonds of the pyrazine ring of folic acid to 5,6,7,8-tetrahydrofolic acid a new asymmetric center is formed at C6 of the pteridine system. With rhodium(I) catalysts made from optically active phosphanes, which are immobilized on silical gel, the hydrogenation in aqueous solution can be controlled stereoselectively. The highest diastereomeric excess of ca. 40% is obtained with (−)-BPPM containing catalysts. The hydrogenation of the biomolecule folic acid in aqueous solution is also possible homogeneously with rhodium(I)-phosphane catalysts, the ligands of which contain sulfonic acid groups and polyether fragments. The homogeneous hydrogenations proceed slower and with somewhat reduced diastereoselectivities compared to the heterogeneous catalyses. The hydrogenation of 2-methylquinoxaline is a model system for the reduction of folic acid. The usual rhodium(I)-phosphane catalysts afford only small enantioselectivities. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
