| Abstract | For many organizations an e-learning platform is seen as a valuable and competitive tool for providing an educational environment that instigate, incite and encourage users to think critically and reflectively, that meets the challenges posed by any time any place availability. Although the technology has been experiencing significant improvements, the results often fall short of expectations. To change this progress it’s necessary innovative approaches. The present study put the focus on the user perspective and, in an holistic way, take into account the evaluation of aspects as accessibility, information architecture, human computer interaction and usability in order to verify its effectiveness in a real learning context. Thus, the main contribution of this study is to provide an integrated approach based on these methods, which will allow presenting a set of best practices for the implementation of e-Learning platforms and, subsequently, improve educational efficiency in learning process. |
