| Abstract | This paper describes the development process and results obtained in an extension project that consisted in a study group about the inclusion process of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), performed with the participation of teachers and managers of two municipal networks of education, students from Pedagogy course and from Masters in Education, as well as university professors. The project lasted for one and a half years, in a total of 26 meetings, held in classroom of a public institution of higher education in the north of Parana, through theoretical and methodological studies, case studies and planning of educational practices. The studied themes were: characterization of the target population of Special Education and its respective SEN, inclusive pedagogic practices, among others. The results evidenced that the procedures were effective to minimize the difficulties experienced by teachers related to the theme. |
