| Abstract | OZET: Bu cal›flmada s›nav kayg›s›, boyun eici davran›fl (itaat), aile, arkadafl ve o¤retmenden alg›lanan sosyal destek deiflkenlerinin lise son s›n›f o¤rencilerinin akademik baflar›- lar›n› ne derecede yordad›¤› incelenmifltir. Araflt›rmaya lise son s›n›fta okuyan 385 (% 58.1) k›z 278 ( % 41.9) erkek ol- mak uzere toplam 663 o¤renci kat›lm›flt›r. O¤rencilerin Ma- tematik, Fizik, Kimya, Biyoloji, Turkce, Tarih, Corafya derslerinden ald›klar› 2002-2003 o¤retim y›l› y›l sonu karne not ortalamalar›, akademik baflar›lar›n›n olcutu olarak al›n- m›flt›r. Veri toplama araclar› olarak S›nav Kayg›s› Envanteri (SKE), Boyun Eici Davran›fllar Olcei (BEDO) Alg›lanan Sosyal Destek Olcei (ASDO) ile araflt›rmac›lar taraf›ndan gelifltirilmifl olan O¤renci Kiflisel Bilgi Formu kullan›lm›flt›r. Veriler Regresyon teknii ile analiz edilmifltir. Araflt›rman›n bulgular›na gore, aile destei, boyun eici davran›fllar, o¤ret- men destei ve s›nav kayg›s› deiflkenleri akademik baflar›y› manidar olarak yordamakta, arkadafl destei ise yordama- maktad›r. Bulgular literatur ›fl›¤›nda tart›fl›lm›fl ve onerilerde bulunulmufltur. ABSTRACT: In the present study, the prediction capa- city of submissive, test anxiety, family support, peer sup- port, and teacher support on academic acheivement of high school students were examined. The sample of the study inc- luded totally 663 (385 female, 278 male). The mean of gra- des of Mathemathics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Turkish Language, History and Geography was considered as the criterion of academic acheivement. Test Anxiety Inventory - Turkish Form (TAI), The Turkish Form of Submissive Acts Scale (SAS) and Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS) we- re administred in other to gather the datain this study. The data were analyzed by Regression technique. Major findings of the study were, family support, submissive acts, teacher support, and test anxiety predicted academic acheivement of high school students significantly. Peer support did not pre- dict academic acheivement significantly. The findings were discussed in the light of related literature, and suggestion were made. |
