| Abstract | In the last decade relations between the Republic of China and Latin American countries have been strengthened, the increase in trading, and the constant political dialogue has taken its links to another level, for some countries to a strategic partnership. However, the bilateral asymmetry in the relationship highlights the need to raise joint policies to face the challenges that this alliance means for the countries of the region.
