| Abstract | espanolRESUMEN El presente trabajo tiene como proposito fundamental presentar un diseno instruccional de un curso de Prostodoncia Hospitalaria, dirigido a odontologos que laboran en hospitales, para la adecuada atencion de los pacientes no convencionales, con necesidades protesicas que asisten a estos servicios de salud. Esta propuesta esta basada en las nuevas tecnologias de informacion y comunicacion como lo es la educacion a distancia, una alternativa para la actualizacion de los profesionales, tanto en la Facultad de Odontologia de la UCV, como en la Educacion Superior. El curso tiene como finalidad complementar la formacion del odontologo en la disciplina protesica dentro del ambiente hospitalario, en el manejo y atencion de estos pacientes en sus dos condiciones: ambulatorio e interno, tomando en consideracion su necesidad humana. Esto se plantea ya que se pudo evidenciar que el odontologo egresado de la UCV no se ha sintonizado con las necesidades protesicas de los pacientes no convencionales, asi como de los pacientes hospitalarios, focalizandose en su preparacion tecnica pero dejando de lado al ser humano EnglishABSTRACT The present work has as fundamental purpose to present an instructional design of a course of "Hospital Prosthodontics", directed to odontologists that work in hospitals, for the appropriate attention of the non conventional patients, with necessities prosthetics that attend these services of health. This proposal this based on the new technologies of information and communication like it is it the education at distance, an alternative for the upgrade of the professionals, so much in the Ability of Dentistry of the UCV, like in the Superior Education. The course has as purpose to supplement the formation of the odontologist in the discipline prosthetic inside the hospital atmosphere, in the handling and these patients' attention under its two conditions: national health clinic and internal.
