| Abstract | It was reported the presence of a case of slaughterhouse found of testicular hypoplasia in Buffalo (Bubalus bubalis), Bufalipso breed. On macroscopic examination post mortem, the right testis was normal and the left apparently markedly reduced in size compatible with the diagnosis of unilateral testicular hypoplasia. However, histopathological findings showed the presence of lesions in both testes. There is a marked peritubular fibrosis with atrophy of seminiferous tubules, loss of the germline, spermatogonial with spheroids, eosinophilic granular material is evident intratubular and interstitial mineral type and giant cell response is observed. The aim of this study was to report one case of testicular hypoplasia, found in slaughterhouse, in a buffalo from a Venezuelan herd. |
