| Abstract | The research was aimed at establishing the relationship between family social climate and social skills in students of an educational institution of Callao. To this end were studied through a descriptive correlational research design, 255 students aged 11 to 17 years selected by non-probability sample of type available. To assess family climate variable scale was used in the family social climate of Moos, Moos and Trickett (2001) and to measure social skills, a questionnaire was Goldtein social skills, Sprafkin, Gershaw and Klein (1989), both instruments adapted by Santos (2010) with acceptable validity and reliability. Also, for the variables and dimensions ratio test was used Spearman correlation r. The research results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the two variables, concluding that students have adequate levels of family climate and well developed advanced levels regarding social skills, the same that is directly related to climate family. |
