| Abstract | The growth of the aesthetic industry and the current tendency of men and women to show good physical appearance have led to a progressive increase in aesthetic treatments for skin care, in this sense the present document sets out the objective of creating a Cosmetological center whose added value is the application of IPL (intense pulsed light) in beauty treatments through the technique of photo rejuvenation that helps improve the texture and quality of the skin thanks to the energy produced by pulsed light emitted by a state-of-the-art machine The project seeks to satisfy the needs of the target market, therefore the location of the cosmetological center is established in the south of the city of Quito, where the center will be equipped with work stations, equipment and supplies necessary for proper operation and offer a quality service, the marketing strategy established for the service is differentiation and advertising activities are focused on promoting the attributes of the treatments for skin care and used equipment, the center has an organizational structure focused on the specialization allowing you to be more efficient and productive and with processes established in the process map and value chain that will generate competitive advantages in the market, will have professional specialists in the cosmetological area to advise the patient at all times. From a financial point of view, the cosmetological center requires an initial investment of $ 47,114, which is financed with equity capital at 65% and bank financing at 35%. The project has a positive viability because its financial projections determine a net present value of $ 14,904.79, which allows to recover the initial investment in 3.11 years and an internal rate of return of 25.18% higher than the opportunity cost measured by the rate off. |
