| Abstract | The present study focuses on the influence of parenting education styles in drugs consumption in teenagers, and its goal is to know what can become a factor of risk or protection. In addition, it is wanted to know aspects about the sample related to the frequency of leisure, the age of beginning the consumption, the perception of risk and the accessibility to drugs. The investigation has been carried out by transversal descriptive design, which has been used as data collection tools for two psychometric tests "Scale of Styles of Parental Socialization in Adolescence (ESPA-29)" and the "Interpersonal Risk Factors for the Consumption of Drugs in Adolescents (FRIDA)", and an "ad hoc" questionnaire called "Questionnaire on leisure time activities in adolescents”. The sample consists of a total of 62 students between 13 and 16 years old. In general, the results show that in the studied population there is a correlational relation between negligent and authoritarian educative style to Tobacco and cannabis consumption. |
