| Abstract | In the present study, we have analitized the relationships between creativity, raise styles and other sociocultural and sociodemographic variables. The main goal is to discover the influences of the family environment in the development of creativity during the stage of child education. The methodology used has consisted of three instruments: the game 3 of parallel lines of the figurative battery of Torrance (1966) to measure the creativity of the children; the adaptation of the PCRI test of Maccoby and Martin (1983) to determine the raise styles; and finally a questionnaire that collected sociocultural and sociodemographic data from the family such as the number of children, age or reader habit, among others. 40 children from P5 and 74 parents participated in the study, from four schools located in the counties of Berguedà and Bages. The results obtained affirm that the analyzed sample obtains high scores in communicative habits, establishment of limits, participation in parenting and enjoyment of parenting. Regarding support, autonomy and distribution of roles, the results have been more widely distributed. However, in parenting styles, the study is divided into two major groups: the data that matches the literature, where the democratic style is the most accepted by the communication and imposition of limits; and the answers that put in evidence that the low satisfaction and distribution of roles foments the creativity of the children. Finally, the other analyzed variables make it clear that the number of brothers and the time spent watching TV influences creativity, unlike the age of the parents. |
