| Abstract | There is not much information about the way teachers who prepare future teachers understand and conceive this process. This research aims to know the different beliefs and the narratives about the teacher training of the teachers from the Pedagogical area from the Languages Department from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. This research made use of theory approaches by Muhamad y Sachez (2009) about the teacher training, by Richards y Lockhart (1994) about the beliefs, and by William Labov (1988) referring to narratives. This is a qualitative-interpretative study and made use of information and opinion collection from eight of the teachers who impart pedagogic classes in the Licenciatura en Lenguas Modernas. |
