| Abstract | This communication is based on my researches in didactics of the mathematics on the numeric (Bronner on 1997, 1998, 2001). They concern the study of the personal relationships of the subjects pupils and teachers with the “numeric”. We also study the didactic transposition of the numeric in French secondary education. The main purpose concerns the projects of learning into which “idecimal” numbers (Bronner 1997) or irrational numbers are introduced, produced or worked with. The theoretical framework of this research is the Anthropological Theory of Didactics (ATD) both at its beginning and at its last developments (Chevallard 1985, 1992, 1999). My purpose in this communication is, on the one hand, to keep in mind the main results obtained on the “numeric” and, on the other hand, to show to what extent ATD is, for me, the theoretical and methodological framework adapted and functional for this type of study. |
