| Abstract | The Espírito Santo state stands out as the most Conilon coffee producer and, with the emergence of new varieties, productivity is increasing. The understanding of the phenotypic response (vegetative growth and production) can help in the culture management, especially in quantity and time of fertilization of each genotype. The aim of study was to evaluate from the first harvest of thirty genotypes of Conilon coffee in north Espírito Santo state. The experiment is being conducted on a farm in Vila Valério, ES, Brazil. The experimental design was a randomized block with four blocks and four plants per plot, spaced 2.7 x 1.2 m. We assessed thirty genotypes of Coffea canephora, twenty nine propagated from cuttings and one from seeds, all watered. The results showed that the genotype 15, popularly known as Bamburral, showed the highest production, followed by 23 (Pirate) and 8 (10V). The genotype propagated from seed had the lowest productivity. It is worth mentioning that the data are not conclusive, since the yield of genotypes may vary in the next harvests. |
