| Abstract | The experiment was conducted on a farm in Vila Valerio,ES, Brazil, in order to evaluate the production of four Coffea arabica genotypes (Catucai Vermelho 19/08, Catuai Vermelho IAC-81, Acaua and Catucai Vermelho 785/15) at an altitude of 140 meters. The experiment was installed in 2012, and the experimental design was randomized block with four replications and four plants per plot, spaced 2.7 x 1.2 m, which is equivalent to 3,086 plants per hectare. Plants were harvested between the April and May months, when the plants showed 80% of ripe fruit. The volume of coffee collected by each plot was weighed by a digital scale. The variable was subjected to analysis of variance and means were compared by Tukey test at 5% probability. Arabica coffee genotype Catucai Vermelho 19/08 showed higher production, followed by the Catuai Vermelho IAC-81, Acaua and Catucai 785/15. Coffee genotype Conilon propagated by seed, had higher production for the four Arabica coffee genotypes. However, the evaluation of at least four crops are necessary for recommendation and results validation. |
