PENINGKATAN PEMBELAJARAN IPS TENTANG KEGIATAN EKONOMI MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION DENGAN MEDIA VIDEO PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 4 KUTOSARI TAHUN AJARAN 2016/2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dengan media video, (2) meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS tentang kegiatan ekonomi melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dengan media video di kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Kutosari tahun ajaran 2016/2017, dan (3) menemukan kendala dan solusi dalam peningkatan pembelajaran IPS tentang kegiatan ekonomi melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dengan media video di kelas IV SD N 4 Kutosari tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas tipe kolaborasi yang dilakukan selama tiga siklus. Siklus I dan II masing-masing terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Siklus III hanya satu pertemuan. Setiap pertemuan dalam siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Kutosari tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 45 siswa terdiri dari 24 siswa laki-laki dan 21 siswa perempuan. Sumber data berasal dari siswa, guru, teman sejawat/peneliti, dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi metode dan sumber. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis kualitatif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan data hasil wawancara dan observasi. Analisis kuantitatif untuk mengukur hasil pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dengan media video yang dilaksanakan dengan langkah-langkah: (a) pengelompokkan siswa, (b) penyampaian tujuan, (c) pemberian tugas, (d) penyajian video, (e) investigasi, (f) penyampaian hasil investigasi, (g) pemberian tanggapan, (h) klarifikasi, dan (i) evaluasi; (2) penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dengan media video dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS tentang kegiatan ekonomi di kelas IV SDN 4 Kutosari tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang ditunjukkan dengan keaktifan siswa mencapai 68,75% dan ketuntasan siswa 54,4% pada siklus I, siklus II keaktifan siswa mencapai 84,375% dan ketuntasan siswa 77,8%, siklus III keaktifan siswa mencapai 92,36% dan ketuntasan siswa 86,6%; (3) kendala dalam penelitian ini adalah media video yang membutuhkan peralatan khusus sehingga membatasi gerak siswa, adapun solusinya yaitu guru akan lebih memperhatikan dan menyiapkan peralatan media video yang akan digunakan secara matang agar tidak membatasi gerak siswa. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dengan media video dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS tentang kegiatan ekonomi di kelas IV SDN 4 Kutosari. IMPROVING THE LEARNING OF IPS ABOUT ECONOMIC ACTIVITY THROUGH COOPERATIVE MODEL OF LEARNING TYPE GROUP INVESTIGATION USING VIDEO AS MEDIA FOR FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SD NEGERI 4 KUTOSARI IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2016/2017. The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the steps on the use of cooperative model of learning type group investigation through video as media, (2) to improve the learning of IPS about economic activity through cooperative model of learning type group investigation using video as media for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Kutosari in the academic year of 2016/2017, and (3) to describe obstacles and solutions improving the learning of IPS about economic activity through cooperative model of learning type group investigation using video as media for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Kutosari in the academic year of 2016/2017,. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle I and cycle II consisted of two meetings and cycle III consisted of one meeting. Each cycle consisted of four stages namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 45 students from fourth grade of SDN 4 Kutosari in the academic year 2016/2017. It consisted of 24 male and 21 female. The data were collected from the teacher, student, researcher’s friend and document. Techniques of collecting data were observation, interview, test, and documentation. The validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and triangulation of technique. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis was used to describe the data results of the interview observation. Quantitative analysis was used to measure the learning outcome. The results of this research show that: (1) the steps on the use of cooperative model of learning type group investigation through video as media, namely: (a) classifying students, (b) delivering the objectives, (c) giving tasks, (d) showing the video, (e) investigating, (f) delivering the result of investigation, (g) giving feedback, (h) clarifying, and (i) evaluating; (2) The use of model cooperative model of learning type group investigation through video as media can improve the learning of IPS about economic activity for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Kutosari in the academic year of 2016/2017. It was proven by the level of students’ activity 68,75% and students’ completeness 54,4% in the cycle I, the level of students’ activity 84,375% students’ completeness 77,8% in the cycle II, the level of students’ activity 92,36% and students’ completeness 86,6% in the cycle III; (3) The obstacle of this research was video as media needs yang special equipment so it was limiting students’ movement. The solution was a teacher needs to pay more attention in preparing the equipment so it will not limit the students’ movement. The conclusion of this research is the use of model cooperative model of learning type group investigation through video as media can improve the learning of IPS about economic activity for fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 4 Kutosari in the academic year of 2016/2017 Keywords: group investigation, video media, learning, IPS |
