| Abstract | Human Resources Management has always been considered as a simple administrative function. It has, most of the time, been underestimated by the firms’ managers. Nevertheless, nowadays, they give it more importance since privatization engenders certain modifications: managers’, employees’ and shareholders’ behaviour and the reengineering of the various functions in the Newly Privatized Firms (NPF), in such a case of HRM. Through this study, we aim at demonstrating how the HRM – through managers’ & shareholders’ motivating – can constitute a competitive advantage for the firms.
