| Abstract | O uso de ferramentas cartograficas (ou geoinformacionais) serao objeto de analise neste artigo, em que buscamos propiciar aos leitores o entendimento da facilidade em elaborar, ler e entender, produtos cartograficos de forma rapida; com informacoes de espacos proximos ou distantes, com a comodidade de se manusear as informacoes espacializadas de diversos lugares do globo, muitas vezes, sem sair de um escritorio. Nesse sentido, procuramos discutir sobre a importância dos chamados WebGis na elaboracao de produtos cartograficos onde, nao apenas o geografo, mas diversos outros profissionais podem se beneficiar desse tipo de “geotecnologia”. E importante observarmos que esse tipo de ferramenta vem se popularizando nos ultimos anos, e a tendencia que se mostra e que essa tecnologia devera ser difundida cada vez mais, tanto no setor publico, quanto no privado. Assim, pelo objeto de trabalho onde as geotecnologias sao aplicadas, o espaco geografico, a vastidao de trabalhos disponiveis aos profissionais que utilizam mapas, por exemplo, mostra-se quase ilimitada, como se observa na elaboracao de um WebGis direcionados a area educacional, ordenamento territorial urbano, saude, analises demograficas, entre outros, o que mostra a diversidade das aplicacoes dessa importante ferramenta. THE WEBGIS AS A TOOL IN TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS OF GEOGRAPHY AND CARTOGRAPHY Abstract: The use of cartographic tools (or geoinformations) will be analyzed in this article, we seek to provide readers an understanding of the facility to prepare, read and understand, cartographic products, with information spaces near and far, with the convenience from different places of the globe, often without leaving an office. Accordingly, we discuss the importance of called WebGis in developing cartographic products which not only the geographer, but many other professionals can benefit from this type of "geotechnology". It is important to observe that this type of tool has become more popular in the last years and the trend that shows is that this technology will be increasingly widespread, both in the public sector and the private. Thus, the object of work where the geotechnologies apply, the geographic space, the vastness of jobs available to professionals using maps, for example, seems almost unlimited, as seen in the development of a targeted area WebGis educational planning urban land, health, demographic analysis, among others, with a diversity of applications. |
