| Abstract | This study has aimed to analyze the motor fitness in adult teams practitioners of nine pin bowling from Clube Recreativo Dores, Santa Maria – Rio Grande do Sul. Participated in the study 10 subjects from both sexes with ages between 21 and 50. For the diagnosis, a pre-test evaluation questionnaire was applied, in which the subject should respond to questions on how he would classify his abilities, and physical performance tasks concerning the qualities required for motor fitness was also applied. In such physical tasks, Modified Sit-ups (localized muscular resistance), Medicine Ball Hurl (upper limbs potency), Horizontal Impulsion (lower limbs potency), to Sit and to Reach (flexibility) and other tasks for agility and cardiovascular resistance were used. For the statistics analysis, descriptive and categorical analysis were used and expressed in percentages. The results indicate that according to the questionnaire 50% of the subjects consider themselves in and adequate fitness level, 40% with a reasonable one and 10% with bad fitness level. Individually, the majority of the responses were not in synchrony with the performance tasks, what shows that the perception the subjects have about their motor fitness is not even with the real classification. We can conclude that the group have not motor abilities in higher levels, being classified in the majority of the time in between reasonable and weak. However, such parameters do not interfere in the performance os such modality for sample. keywords: employee performance appraisal, physical fitness, pin bowling |
