| Abstract | A direct connection between a load and a renewable energy source results in a lot of problems for the optimization of the produced power , the efficiency of the system and the bad matching. Moreover, if this load was a battery, suc h type of connection affects its normal operation and its protection will never be ensured. Most of the research work shows the need for a regulation stage between the generator and th e load. The main objective of this work is to design a batt ery charging regulator for hybrid systems with low and medium power, this regulator will be t he adaptation stage between the generators and the load which will ensure the norma l operation of our system and the protection of our batteries; and since the main aim when designing such type of converters is to reduce the power consumption and the circuit cos , we propose a microcontroller based circuit for the digital control of the charging of batteries. |
