| Abstract | The objective of this scientific article is to determine to what degree strategic innovation is associated with organizational innovation and the effect of this association. Based on a review of the literature and the theoretical perspective of resources and skills, the research hypotheses were formulated. The hypotheses were tested using a quantitative approach, a transversal research design with a descriptive/correlational scope, and through the opinions of 235 employees and directors of 32 institutions of higher education. The results demonstrated a positive correlation among the research variables, and also confirmed the importance of strategic innovation as an in dicator of organizational innovation. |
