| Abstract | This paper aims to analyze the impacts perceived by 124 graduates of an MBA course offered by a Brazilian university. The impacts were divided into three areas: skills and abilities, income and career. Positive impacts were identified in the skills and abilities area, especially for research, critical thinking and integrating information from different sources. Regarding the career area, most graduates experienced an advance in their careers after graduating, with a notable increase in the frequency of board level and CEO roles. As for the third area, income, an increase was noted after finishing the course although despite graduates considering their MBAs as having a positive impact to their incomes, they assigned only an average weight to it. |
