| Abstract | The present report emerges from the subject “Practical of Education Supervised II” and the experience with a group of students of the 1.st year, in a public elementary school, of the city of Lisbon and intends to be a reflective document (essay) about the practical experience in teaching context, during the 3.rd period, school year 2013/2014. According with the problems that we found and the objectives traced in the intervention plan, a study was developed focused in the process of teach-learning of the descriptive text. Our objective it to understand in what way explicit education forms of the reading strategies contributes for a better production of a descriptive text. The intervention is based in a methodology with characteristics that if approach to the inquiry(research)-action, in a qualitative paradigm, which holds in itself the behavior, the activity of the people and the organizations. The first phase (step) became related with the comment and the observation of the context and its consequent characterization. From this aspect we identified the fragilities and the potentialities of the pupils, mentors of the definition of the problematic one, as well as of the main objectives of the intervention. From here appeared the strategies to use and the skills which were necessary to develop in the pupils. After all these essential aspects, we conceive a share plan to implement during the period of intervention. From the analysis of the results, we had concluded that the explicit education of the reading strategies contributes for an improvement of the performance of the pupils in the writing of the descriptive text. |
