| Abstract | The study that I will make is about a research project from an intervention in a high risk operation within the Intervention and Rescue Group from the National Police of Ecuador, due to the fact that in this Police Unit an intervention protocol for high risk operations does not exist; therefore, I will try to search all the necessary information as a result the most relevant aspects of this research will be strengthened. By using active techniques like direct and indirect observation, checking, interviews, surveys, among others, these results will be taken to practice through the elaboration of a protocol. The main characteristics of the procedures in an intervention of a high risk operation made by the Intervention and Rescue Group of the National Police of Ecuador will be shown in this study; by making emphasis in the methods, techniques, and policing strategies leaned to the strict respect of the Human Rights that are used in the police procedures, and also in incursions, object capture, hostage rescue, among other methods. This study will achieve a high importance within our Unit, which up to this point does not have an intervention protocol in high risk operations that are executed daily to the Community Service. The essential part of this bibliographical review and practice has been guided by the P-3 Office of GIR Quito and also by Officers, Classes and Police founders of GIR, strengthened by visits to the rest of the headquarters divisions in the rest of the country by benefiting new generations, allowing them to have updates of technology and the real knowledge of the police procedures and also by achieving organization inside our Unite and therefore in the National Police. |
