| Abstract | El estudio que se presenta es un acercamiento a las razones epistemologicas que sustentan al Movimiento de Pioneros Exploradores como una organizacion social especial que incide de manera directa en la formacion de ninos, ninas y adolescentes cubanos, hasta el presente esta ha sido una tematica poco estudiada. En el articulo se encuentran interesantes reflexiones y comentarios desde la Sociologia de la Educacion que permiten un acercamiento para un solido estudio teorico sobre el Movimiento de Pioneros Exploradores, no debe perderse de vista que se trata de un fenomeno en el que la praxis ha interactuado de manera determinante. Estas reflexiones epistemologico sustentan la distincion entre lo social y lo sociologico del Movimiento de Pioneros Exploradores, a partir de la definicion de una serie de conceptos o fenomenos como: las normas sociales, la socializacion, la interaccion social, el poder, la estructura y el funcionamiento de los grupos que conforman el contexto de actuacion escolar y extraescolar del Movimiento de Pioneros Exploradores. PALABRAS CLAVE: pioneros exploradores; organizacion social especial; estructura y funcionamiento de grupos. IS IT THE PIONEER EXPLORATORY MOVEMENT A SPECIAL SOCIAL ORGANIZATION? EPISTEMOLOGICAL REASONS FOR SUPPORTING IT ABSTRACT The essence of this article is to reflex about epistemological reasons, which support the work with the Pioneer Exploratory Movement as special social organization and its incidence in the formation of children and Cuban adolescents, its disclose that this topic has been little systematized. In this analysis is possible to find interesting suggestions and comments from the education sociologist which allow a theoretical dissertation around the Pioneer Exploratory Movement, is very important to take into account that in this phenomenon the praxis has performed as primary idea. These theories support the distinction between the social and the sociological of the Pioneer Exploratory Movement, from the definition of concepts like: social interrelations, the group structure and its performance in the context of scholarship activities and in the external scholarship activities.
