| Abstract | The aim of this paper is to present the self-assessment that cordobesian students of primary education in sixth grade show about their competence in “Knowledge and Interaction with the psysical world”. Self-assessment is one of the recommendations of the European Commission to complement the skills assessment. The method used in the research was quantitative, based on a questionnaire that 1424 students from different schools in Cordoba filled out. The results show that there are variables such as gender or extracurricular activities that determine the self-assessment of students. In conclusion, it is necessary to consider this type of assessment to introduce the competences in the classrooms. |
