| Abstract | O artigo aborda os conceitos de Criatividade e Imaginacao na Infância, na perspectiva de Vygotski, retratando como esses conceitos se constituem na formacao humana, e de que maneira contribuem para a criacao dos desenhos na infância. O principal objetivo foi compreender o processo de imaginacao e criatividade na construcao de desenhos produzidos a partir da leitura de imagens de obras de artes por criancas do quarto ano do ensino fundamental a luz da perspectiva historico-cultural. Realizamos a pratica pedagogica, propondo uma atividade na qual as criancas deveriam criar novos desenhos, utilizando como base fragmentos de tres obras analisadas por eles. Para a analise das producoes artisticas das criancas, foram lancadas categorias a priori . Percebemos, por meio da pratica realizada, que a criatividade surge posteriormente a imaginacao, e esta e resultante das experiencias vivenciadas no meio social. A imitacao e caminho para a criatividade, pois a crianca parte daquilo que conhece, para entao criar algo novo, fantasioso e imaginario. Na educacao e importante que se proporcione praticas pedagogicas envolvendo o contexto historico-cultural e meios para que a crianca se reconheca neste processo de aprendizado, partindo de conceitos ja internalizados, pois, quanto maior for o numero de experiencias significativas para crianca, maior sera o seu desenvolvimento imaginativo e criativo. IMAGINATION AND CREATIVITY PROCESSES IN BUILDING THE CHILDHOOD DRAWINGS IN VIEW OF THE HISTORICAL-CULTURAL PERSPECTIVE Abstract : The article discusses the concepts of Creativity and Imagination during Childhood from the perspective of Vygotsky, portraying how these concepts are constituted in human development and how they contribute to the creation of drawings during childhood. Our main goal was to understand the process of creativity and imagination in the construction of drawings produced from interpreting works of art by children in the fourth grade of elementary school, in light of the historical-cultural perspective. We conducted the pedagogical practice, proposing an activity in which the children should create new drawings using fragments of three works of art analyzed by them. For the analysis of the works of art by the children, a priori categories were established. We noticed, by means of the practice conducted, that creativity emerges after imagination, and the latter is a result of experiences lived within the social environment. Imitation is the path to creativity, for the child starts from what it knows to then create something new, fanciful and imaginative. In education it is important to provide pedagogical practices involving the historical-cultural context and means so that the children can recognize themselves within this learning process, starting with concepts that have already been internalized, for the greater the number of significant experiences for the child, the greater will his/her imaginative and creative development be.
