| Abstract | This business plan belongs to the footwear industry manufacture, sale will be held in the city of Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas. According to the Ministry o Industry and Productivity, the sector of the Ecuadorian footwear and manufacture of rubber products in recent years has experienced sustained growth rates of 3%, thanks to the government policy of import substitution, to stimulate domestic production quality. There is a favorable trend towards buying organic products and environmental care, therefore it arises the idea of producing and marketing a product that allows replacing the shoes synthetic raw material for an ecological alternative care benefits to the environment and money for the agricultural sector of this city. To find out if the business idea is feasible, market research was conducted through surveys, focus groups and interviews with experts in various aspects were identified: 81% level of acceptance and willingness to buy, tastes, consumer preferences, substitute products, and knowledge about the existence of organic products. |
