| Abstract | Irrigation management is a very important technique economically and ambientalnuma agriculture, enables correct dimensioning of irrigation systems and making more rational use of water resources and soil. This study aimed to characterize the water retention curve of an Oxisol cultivated with sugarcane under different irrigation levels and use of N and K via subsurface drip. The experimental design was randomized blocks in a factorial 3 x 2, with four replicates, corresponding five levels of fluid replacement (0, 50 and 100% of field capacity) combined with and without fertigation with N and K. Soil samples were collected at 0-10, 10-20 and 20-40 cm. Foi determined the water content in the tensions of 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 33, 66, 100, 500 and 1.500 kPa. Set the water content () axis of ordinates in function of the water pressure in the soil (ψm) corresponding axis of abscissas. In water retention in the soil parameters such as residual moisture from the soil and moisture from the saturated soil, they tended to increase with increasing fluid replacement. There was a reversal of the moisture saturated soil, tending to be higher in deeper, and less depth when fertirrigated. |
