| Abstract | The water potential in the leaf describes the energy status of the plant, whose gradients explain the water flows in the soil plant atmosphere system, so it is of great importance to present the water status and the water stress dynamics of crops of Interest as coffee. Irrigations were made in 8 coffee lines, 4 using non-magnetized water and 4 magnetized, divided into slices with 50%, 75%, 100% and 125% magnetization. Sixty-six leaves of the experiment were collected before the suns rays and analyzed for their potential water in the leaf by Scholander's Chamber. The water potential in the leaf showed a difference between the treatments and between the slides, where the 50% and 75% showed a better result indicating a lower water deficit in these slides of the magnetized treatment. |
