| Abstract | An insufficient pragmatic competence, the lack of knowledge about the taboo topics and politeness formulas as well as a different concept of intimacy of the L2 culture can cause a real cultural shock. In this paper we present three testimonies of informants who have lived in Spain, Argentina and Cuba, we reflect about the importance of introducing the sociocultural topics in the Spanish classroom and we offer some didactic proposals to develope intercultural competences through the testimony and the hispanic literature. |
