| Abstract | The critical theory of human rights throws a new perspective on human rights, so as to see them as something beyond standards, a constant process of struggles and disputes of interests. In this context, this article intends to analyze the conflict between the human right to water and the conflicts due to its uses, especially with regard to the use for irrigation in agriculture, the use that consumes the most water in the country. The increase in the number of conflicts and of those involved reflects the permanence of the agrarian question in contemporary society, showing that it has reinvented itself within agronomic. We will see that this model of production is in contradiction with the human right to water. |
