| Abstract | This research is aimed to design the test instrument model, measurement, and evaluation of pencak silat athlete by using digital equipment (computer). Pencak Silat athletes, as well as teachers and coaches can see directly the scores obtained after the tests and measurements, the research was made as an effort to find a strategic solution to control the problems that occur in society (padepokan) pencak silat, quality problems athletes martial arts very complex in Indonesia, coupled with very difficult to find a standard instrument model, so that the results of the exercise can not be directly measured and evaluated therefore in correlated results of IPSI match qualification with the results of test instruments that are made. The research method used a developmental study developed by Borg and Gall (1983) and Gay (1990). The research was made as an effort to find strategic solution to control the problems that happened in the society (padepokan) of pencak silat, the problem of the quality of pencak silat athlete is very complex in Indonesia, coupled with very difficult to find the standard instrument model, so the result of the training can not be directly measured and Evaluated. Characteristics of respondents who are the attention of researchers is the martial arts athletes who will carry out the selection into TIM Babak Qualification PORDA XII West Java under the supervisor of IPSI Branch Tasikmalaya City, for respondents used as many as 21 pesilat of various classes and categories. In the sampling technique the researchers pursed sampling to be tested by using a purvosive sampling technique in which the researcher chose respondents based on certain considerations with the aim to obtain sampling units that have the characteristics or criteria desired in the sampling of respondents or athletes who get the rank of 3 big men |
