Abstract	Energy has a very vital role both in the commercial sector, industry sector, transportation sector and household. Energy problems in Indonesia already very complex, the focus policy is only concerned sector during Supply Side Management (SSM), while the implementation of energy conservation Demand Side Management (DSM) has not been done optimally. The purpose of this study to determine project energy demand of household electricity in Semarang City from 2015 until 2025 (RUED Policy Year) based on the use of electrical equipment as well as the growth of household, then perform energy management by applying the scenario saving on electrical equipment that will show the impact of the reduction CO2 emissions in Semarang. A previous study conducted by Tongam Sihol Nababan that focus on the relationship between the demand for electrical energy in household sector in Medan with economic activities that affect the economic prosperity in region. In this study, the research focus conveniently on energy management in household sector. The result showed the largest energy consuming is refrigerator, lights, water pumps, computer, rice cooker, air conditioner, stove, iron and fan. Improved efficiency of electrical energy consumption of the television is able to reduce the level of CO2 emissions significantly up to 15,2 thousand tons of CO2 and refrigerator up to 68,2 thousand ton CO2 in 2025.
