| Abstract | In this paper we describe preliminary results from a collaborative effort between UCSC's Internetworking Research Group (i-NRG) and ITAM's Robotics Lab focusing on enabling multiple, autonomous robots to collaborate in carrying out special-operation type tasks such as disaster recovery and emergency response. To this end, we have been developing a distributed, multi-robot architecture with distributed vision and wireless ad hoc networking capabilities. We present results from initial experimentation while discussing future work. Index Terms—Ad-Hoc, Wireless, Networking, Multi-Robot, Autonomous |
