| Abstract | Dance is present in the life of the human being since the first signs of civilization, it transmits much of the current context and culture that is inserted. We live in a moment in which information and communication technologies have been gaining space within teaching environments and consolidating as an educational tool. Teaching dance in the context of traditional education is a difficult task for those who do not know how to dance. The aim of this study is to discuss the potential of information and communication technologies in the practice of teaching dance content in school. The theme will be discussed using as reference some authors of distinct areas of knowledge: education, dance and technologies. A model of pedagogical proposal with the use of technologies as an educational tool is present in the work, to exemplify a possibility of joining dance and information and communication technologies in educational practice. Using technologies for teaching dance in schools is a movement that brings students closer to content. |
