| Abstract | In this paper our purpose is to present some solutions to multiple object tracking in an image sequence with a real time constraint and a mobile camera. We propose a solution which is built upon active contours models, without their well-known limitations related to initialisation, optimal parameter setting, computational cost, and unability to deal with topology changes. To do so, the algorithm is based on original energies, a box-based tracking process, splitting and merging steps, and multiresolution image analysis. |
