| Abstract | Entrepreneurs are key to the development of a country, as they drive the economy through innovation. In Brazil, a question arises the need for educational institutions to encourage and "teach" entrepreneurship, since you can learn to be an entrepreneur. In this context it becomes relevant to the existence of instruments that can measure the potential entrepreneur. Thus, the work in question sought to adapt, validate and measure the entrepreneurial potential of students of a Higher Education Institution (HEI), as well as analyze the implications of this construct profile of the student, used a Likert scale format consists of 30 items . For data analysis, statistical techniques used for highlighting the ADAPTAÇÃO, VALIDAÇÃO E DISCUSSÕES DA APLICAÇÃO DE UMA ESCALA DE MEDIDA DO POTENCIAL EMPREENDEDOR EM UNIVERSITÁRIOS ISSN 1982-2596 RPCA * Rio de Janeiro * v. 7 * n.3 * jul./set. 2013 * 115-138 * 116 exploratory factor analysis with the extraction method of principal components and varimax rotation (varimax with Kaiser normalization), reliability coefficient Cronbach Alpha and nonparametric tests Test U of Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis (k samples). The statistical package used was the SPSS 17.0. Factor analysis extracted seven factors high value of internal reliability that explain 73.75% of the total variance: "Planning, Goals and Control" (3.66) "Intention to undertake" (3.89) "Persistence "(4.44)" Opportunity "(3.94)" Persuasion "(4.07)" Efficiency "(4.35) and" Info "(4.36). Regarding personal factors, no significant differences for any of the items: gender (p = 0.41); period (p = 0.41); professional activity (p = 0.23), stroke (p = 0.17) , age (p = 0.82), income (p = 0.64), father's occupation (p = 0.38) and mother's occupation (p = 0.32). It is suggested that in future research using structural equation model to confirm the scale and with a more diverse sample of courses. |
