| Abstract | The objective of this thesis work was to develop a proposal about Rural Zoning in the municipality of La Dorada, Caldas- Colombia, for which I performed a descriptive and comparative analysis of the Environmental rural Dimension of the Basic Territorial Planning Ordinance And The Ecological Main structure accomplished by Regional Environmental Corporation of Caldas department - CORPOCALDAS. The rural zoning, was based on three fundamental stages: In the two firsts, I was developing a diagnostic evaluation and an analysis of the present condition of the municipality for means of Ecological Main structure ( Corpocaldas, 2009 ) and of the environmental dimension of the Basic Territorial Planning Ordinance PBOT of the municipality La Dorada, from it, i propose the third and last stage, which consisted in accomplishing the rural based zoning principally based in the zoning of the drainage basin of the river “Guarino” and the river “La miel” homologated with the Decree 3600 of 2007 and required. Analyzing and Identifying the natural elements of the municipality according to The “Ecological Main structure of Caldas department” enabled the recognition of the areas where the efforts of conservation of the goods and environmental services should be concentrated. In turn, they will be able to be considerate and to be included in the revision of the Basic Territorial Planning of the municipality. For the elaboration of zoning, was necessary to use a tool of Geographic Information Systems, for this case was ArcGIS, this software was enabled to develop the modelling processes based in cartography with which every one of the units of zoning were delimited. In conclusion, the objective of the environmental rural zoning, is delimiting geographic areas applying criteria based in aspects of environmental interest that allow identifying homogeneous areas for its bigger vulnerability in front factors generally with anthropic origin, that they can induce or to aggravate situations or undesirable states of the surroundings natural and human, having like base the present conditions of the same. |
