| Abstract | The currently competitive market requires companies ability to meet the new needs that arise in terms of management, therefore, it is clear that organizations need tools that allow monitoring of their strategies. The present work sought design a system of performance evaluation through the Balanced Scorecard for a retail fuel company. Order to meet the objective of this work was carried exploratory research, qualitative nature, through a case study. Data were collected and analyzed within the four perspectives proposed by the BSC: financial, customer, internal processes and learning and growth, being 3 (three) financial and ten (10) non-financial. Finally, we conclude that the balanced scorecard is presented as a tool to support strategic management and performance evaluation of the company, capable of providing significant improvements in the activities and processes of the organization. |
