| Description | Journal: Journal of Physics C: Solid State Physics Positron lifetimes in triglycine sulphate have been determined as a function of temperature. The two components tau$ _{1}$ and tau$ _{2}$ and the intensity $I_{2}$ show an abrupt behaviour near the temperature at which the ferroelectric to paraelectric transition occurs. These results thus indicate the sensitivity of the positron as a probe for the study of order-disorder transitions. The longer component is found to be due to positron annihilation in the defects. |
