Description	Information-Centric Networking (ICN) [1] research is often confronted in regards to its potential for out-performing and/or replacing the underlying IP fabric of today's Internet, in order to improve currently experienced operations, as well as to provide a more flexible platform to face the increasing set of challenges that arise from the integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in many different fields. The interest in ICN, as an enabler for a Future Internet, has been growing in the last few years, supported by industrial, academic and standardisation research efforts, illustrating the contribution that its novel design can provide in different deployments [2]. The ability to use a name to retrieve content, in a way that is location and access technology independent, and the capability for routers to take advantage of content caching, are only some of the intrinsic ICN aspects that may pave the way for a fundamental new Internet [3]. These aspects can further push new technological insights, by enhancing name-based mechanisms as seen in projects such as SeLF-ICN,$ ^{1}$ where names are used by network mechanisms to reference elements inside content itself.
