Description	The Internet of Things (IoT) will affect our experiences with the world around us. Billions of 'objects' communicate with each other – televisions, refrigerators, smart meter cars, health monitors, and wearables. The IoT promises unprecedented comfort. However, in order to achieve IoT's full potential, it is essential to gain and maintain consumer confidence in privacy and security. Indeed, data transfers related to IoT will draw the portrait of each of us. The challenge is to secure this information. The fundamental problem is that traditional security measures will not work correctly with the IoT. In this case, the introduction of content-centric networking (CCN) will promote the IoT's security and privacy. Unlike current IP networks, CCN offers several attractive advantages, such as security, energy efficiency, flexibility, and scalability that satisfy the IoT requirements. In this chapter, we present a new security model based on the combination of CCN features and blockchain technology, known for its security and reliability, to be integrated into the IoT ecosystem to overcome the issues of trust, identity, confidentiality, and data protection of the IoT.
