| Abstract | L’objectif du présent chapitre de conclusion est de livrer une première comparaison et évaluation internationale des initiatives de direction systémique les plus élaborées qui sont menées dans les pays de l’OCDE. Ce chapitre commence par présenter de façon synthétique ce que pensent les chercheurs de la direction systémique, puis il passe en revue les pratiques actuelles, à savoir les liens de collaboration et de coopération qui se sont noués entre plusieurs chefs d’établissement dans cinq pays différents. L’analyse met en évidence les avantages de ces initiatives : développement des capacités d’encadrement, rationalisation de l’utilisation des ressources, renforcement de la coopération, répartition accrue des fonctions de direction au sein des établissements et amélioration de leurs résultats. Elle présente également les obstacles à la durabilité des approches de direction systémique : difficulté de concilier coopération et concurrence ; nécessité de valoriser et de soutenir la répartition des tâches de direction au sein des écoles ; nécessité de sélectionner, recruter, perfectionner et récompenser les dirigeants du système ; enfin, besoin de trouver un moyen institutionnel adapté pour soutenir la pratique. Les auteurs laissent entendre que le partage collectif des compétences, du savoir-faire et de l’expérience créera des possibilités de transformation beaucoup plus riches et plus pérennes que si chacune des institutions travaille séparément. Cependant, pour que cela se concrétise, il faut que les chefs d’établissement disposent d’une plus grande liberté pour prendre des initiatives. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
