| Abstract | Ce chapitre dresse un panorama de la qualité de l’emploi dans les différents pays de l’OCDE et pour différentes catégories socioéconomiques. Il retient trois grandes dimensions de la qualité de l’emploi, jugées essentielles pour le bien-être des travailleurs : la qualité du revenu d’activité, la sécurité sur le marché du travail et la qualité de l’environnement de travail. La situation du marché du travail devrait être évaluée en termes, non seulement d’augmentation du nombre d’emplois, mais aussi d’amélioration de la qualité de ces emplois. Ce chapitre suggère qu’une telle démarche pourrait quelque peu changer la donne. Si certains pays obtiennent de bons (ou mauvais) résultats à la fois en termes de quantité et de qualité, d’autres affichent une situation plus contrastée, un nombre élevé d’emplois ne s’accompagnant pas nécessairement d’une bonne qualité de ces emplois (et vice-versa). Ce chapitre apporte également un nouvel éclairage sur les inégalités en matière d’emploi, à travers une nouvelle analyse de la nature et de l’ampleur des handicaps auxquels sont confrontées certaines catégories de la population. Il apparaît en particulier que les jeunes, les travailleurs peu qualifiés et les travailleurs temporaires cumulent beaucoup de handicaps, tandis que les travailleurs très qualifiés ont accès à des emplois plus nombreux, mais aussi de meilleure qualité. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
