| Abstract | L’analyse de l’actualité et des politiques touchant à l’équité est une priorité sous-jacente dans une grande partie des travaux que consacre l’OCDE à l’éducation. On a souligné la persistance d’un phénomène inégalitaire, et grâce à des collectes internationales de meilleure qualité, on a pu analyser des données relatives à un grand nombre de groupes d’apprenants et à leur expérience éducative. Les dimensions et les groupes comprennent le sexe, l’âge, le statut d’immigrant, les besoins spécifiques et les origines sociales, et couvrent la formation formelle ou non formelle pour adultes, de même que l’enseignement scolaire, l’enseignement professionnel et l’enseignement supérieur. Les analyses réalisées par l’OCDE ont également étudié la nature de la « fracture numérique ». Les résultats et les recommandations d’une étude internationale à grande échelle consacrée à l’équité dans l’éducation qui a donné lieu à deux publications – En finir avec l’échec scolaire et Équité et qualité dans l’éducation – sont présentés. Ce chapitre résume les orientations pour l’action publique prometteuses élaborées sur la base d’études publiées depuis, portant entre autres sur l’éducation des immigrants, la diversité culturelle et la formation des enseignants. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
